Growing up I have always been both intimidated and intrigued by the idea of going to college. So when asked the question “what do you think are the greatest benefits of a college degree?” I had a difficult time coming up with an overall answer. College is many things, for some it gives the opportunity for a successful career, for others it becomes a way to open up to new experiences and make memories. Others see it as a chance to party and have fun. Throughout high school, I learned more and more about what it means to become a graduate and prepare for my future. I have always yearned for the opportunity to become a college student and build my education further. The thought of leaving home and taking semester-long classes for multiple years may seem daunting to some, but it can offer new challenges and possibilities.
From getting an associates degree to getting a masters degree, a lot of time and effort is crucial. Becoming a student who stands out and involves themselves to their school can become not only a great influence, but also gets them closer to their dream job. As a future college student, I am beginning to understand the importance of doing extracurricular activities and taking as many classes that will benefit my future as possible. College is the next step in setting up a successful future and
Getting a decent education can give an individual a giant head start in the right direction. Degrees give future employees a higher chance than one who has not gone to college. This is one of the examples that shows how beneficial a degree can be. In conclusion, I think that opening up to new experiences and getting a strong degree for future careers are the greatest benefits of getting a college degree.
