Studying for final exams has always been very important to me. The easiest way I have found to quickly learn the information and study effectively is by studying with someone else. The perfect person for me to study with is my mom. She is always willing to help me learn whatever it is I need to learn, from 40 important Supreme Court cases to essential polyatomic ions. There are many reasons why studying with my mom has helped me make it through many a final exam.

My mom is someone I am comfortable being around. This is essential for me to be able to study effectively and successfully. For some reason, I don’t study well with tutors or other people. But it’s different with my mom. She will help me memorize something, teach me concepts I didn’t understand, or just help me go over something I learned that day so the idea is cemented in my head.

My mom is also a very diligent, reliable tutor. She is always looking out for my best interests, and that includes me graduating from high school so I can move on to college. An important part of graduating is passing my finals, and she is always there to help me. She will ask me every day if I need help studying for something, or if I was able to learn and remember what I was taught that day. When finals week rolled around, I knew I was prepared because my mom and I had been studying for weeks before the final exams.

My mom will never give up on me. My friends may get frustrated if I can’t understand something or need further help or tutoring to really grasp a concept, but not my mom. No matter how long it takes me to understand something or how many times I mess up, she is always patient and understanding. This mindset fosters a great learning environment that really lets me connect with the material and learn in a stress-free environment.
My mom is the perfect study mate. I study with her before every final exam I have to take, because I know that if she helps me, I will remember the material and ace the test. She makes it so easy for me to review material and even learn new things. And best of all, my mom tutors me for free!
