Read, Write, and Write Again by Emma - January 2014 Scholarship Essay
There are many study methods that I use but I have to say that the most effective one is when I write what I need to know and all the information along with it down. Then I rewrite it a bunch of times until I do not have to look at notes or readings to know what to write. Once I know what to write then I have memorized the information that is most important. I usually don’t rewrite everything more than 3 or 4 times because after you read it, write it, and say it to yourself you mostly have the information down. This method helps in every subject that you test in, foreign languages, math, English, and etc.
Using this method has helped me be able to memorize things easier. Since you are always writing in school this is very helpful because now after I write something down I do not have a hard time trying to memorize it. In math when I need to recall equation on a test I know to study by writing the equation and what every symbol represents. This also works for Spanish. To learn vocabulary you just write the word and then the translation and do it over and over again. This method really does work.
