As students,passing our final exams and making the grades is the most important part of our educational life. Every student feels a sense of accomplishment if they are able to ace their classes at the end of the semester or the academic year.
Studing as we all know is a very difficult thing to do. Talking about reading, writing notes and trying to retain or memorize the material is not easy especially with certain difficult subject like the maths and sciences. Growing up as a child and wanting to be an A student I came up with different ways or methods to help me in class, tests and finals.
One was I never procrastinated, procrastination is indeed the thief of time. When we procrastinate we tend to waste a lot of useful and precious time we could have used for something very profitable. So as a student, what I do is to study all the time, with the least chance I get I go to my books and try to read something then waste my time doing nothing. I also make sure I get all my assignments done and read ahead the night before my class. That makes me understand whatever is being taught in class because I have read and I have an idea about it.
Also, I do not wait till a day before finals before I study, most students do so and that is very wrong. One should not wait till the last minute to study for their finals. I start preparing for my finals like a month before the due date. In doing so I am able to review and revise all the chapters and notes than to rush through them in the last minute or last days.
Last but not least, I go for a lot of tutoring and ask a lot of questions to make sure that I understand whatever I am being taught in class. All these methods mentioned above are the ways that has helped me and is still helping me pass all my tests, quizzes and above all my finals.
