As a future plan of working in the healthcare field as a radiologist, many subjects have sparked my curiosity and passion for learning. As a sophomore in high school, I enrolled in a Biology 2 class, also known as Anatomy. This complex course taught me the importance of knowing about the human body. I learned about medical terms and body parts which will be very beneficial while working in this field. This course sparked my interest in learning about how bodies work.
Ever since a very young age, I have always excelled in math courses. After taking advanced and college level math classes, my passion for this subject has grown stronger. I know that going into any job in the medical field, especially radiology, requires a great deal of mathematical skills. These would be very beneficial to me and provide me with a reassurance that I am able to complete these following academic challenges. This sparked the idea of entering this field and influenced me to pursue academics in the future.
These areas of studies have influenced my academic pursuits and shaped my educational goals for the future. Without these courses, I would not know my plans for my future. They have inspired me to chase after my dreams of helping people through the healthcare field.
