Honestly, I did not enjoy reading when I was little. When I had to read books for school, I dreaded it. But when the Harry Potter series came out everything changed for me. I actually enjoyed Harry’s story. So my dad and I made a point in which every night before I went to bed, he would read to me all of Harry’s adventures in his magical world. When I grew old enough to read the books on my own, my dad and I actually raced to see who could finish the novels first.

I believe the reason why I loved Harry Potter so much was because it gave me inspiration; it gave me the inspiration I needed to come up with my own imagination. I loved the fact that Harry lived in a magical world where anything could happen. From being in his world, it opened up the potential for my own possibilities. I believed that my dreams would come true, pushing myself to dream.

Throughout my life I let Harry Potter’s magical world impact my own by letting myself dream. From dreaming of becoming some type of artist, I knew I had to work hard so I could eventually attend an accredited college. Now my options are wide open because I strived for greatness throughout all of my life. Thus, I am planning on going to NYC to study fashion design. Thanks to Harry Potter’s imaginative story I can create my own story and you can help me create my story. I am the most hardworking person you would have ever met and this is why I deserve this scholarship.
