How I learn Best

As I enter the end of my under graduate career I know I am not the best student I can be. I struggle with many of the norms that many students seem to be able to do well with. I have learned that my learning style seems to be weak in a traditional class room. So the question often becomes how can I get the help that I need to be able to do well at the university level?

I found that I am a very fast learner when I have one on one studies. The direct attention I get from varsity tutors is what has allowed me to be able to pass classes I otherwise may not be able to do well in. As I evaluate our education system at my specific university I began to realize that I am capable of doing well In the right conditions. The best way to get the students similar to myself to learn more and improve performance is to decrease the class room size. Many students at the university level don’t get the attention they need and often teach themselves with books or YouTube. I can testify to this as I have done this just about all my under graduate career. More and more schools are decreasing class room size and students like myself are reaping the benefits. I am often refer to as a seat number then my name. This does not bold well for all peoples.

Ultimately to get the best experience and to maximize our potential I believe that we need to get the students more involved. Teachers need to break up class room size to uniquely tailor our weaknesses to each one us. More teaches may need to be hired but our country will benefit from this in the long term.
