Education is worth everything. Education was taken for granted in the past century, but it is quite beneficial nowadays. Education has greatly increased and helped individuals achieve their dreams. The purpose of education is to help people succeed and to meet their dreams and goals in life.

Success is often determined by a person's level of education. The more that people are educated, the more they understand the real world and are able to succeed within it. A person that has only gone to school through the fifth grade will not be as likely to succeed as someone who received their master's degree. Especially now, most jobs and careers require college degrees to be able to become an employee. The degree certifies that the individual actually know what they are doing versus taking guesses that could be detrimental to the company they are applying to. Therefore, would it be safer to be operated on by a surgeon with a PhD or a fifth grader?

Although many goals and dreams are imaginable, not many are realistic without an education backing them up. Anyone can say that they want to be a billionaire, but without an education, they would have a hard time understanding what needs to be done in order to make their dream a reality. Taking business classes would have helped that person understand that investing in different areas could bring them closer to their goals, but it would also teach them how to wisely invest. Getting a GED is a requirement, but wanting to go to college is the real goal of education. It wants people to better themselves so that they may obtain their dream job and be set for the real world.

Education is a necessity in today's society. Education helps lead individuals to success. It also prepares them to adjust to real world situations that they may not have been exposed to while bettering their education. People are more likely to be able to reach their dreams and goals when they have higher education under their belt. The purpose of education is to teach people the necessary skills so that they may be or do whatever they aspire to be or do.
