My Path, My Future by Delaney - November 2023 Scholarship Essay

For me college represents endless opportunities. It is where my path to my future really begins. I will embrace my love for Graphic Design to help me succeed as well as use my love for softball to get me there.
Pursuing a higher education is something that has always been a part of my goals. Not just to get the experiences in college but to get to the degree that will help me to get a successful job.
Studying Graphic Design is my passion. Unlocking the door for people to create the ideas in their heads. I want to be there for visual storytelling. College is where I want to explore new techniques, fully understand designing websites, as well as find inspiration.
The other reason college is so important to me is I will also get to continue and pursue my softball career. I want to continue the sport that taught me about discipline, teamwork, and resilience. These skills will definitely help and contribute to my ability in college softball but also in the classroom.
Pursuing Graphic Design and playing softball in college will not be easy but I know how much I can do. Knowing that this is the best way to succeed and set myself up for the best career and life out in the real world.
