I have graduated from high school many years ago and like most would love the chance to do it over and change some things. Since my teenage years I have learned a lot and more importantly understand more than I did in my younger days. If I could go back and write a senior yearbook quote I would make it meaningful. My hopes would be to inspire and uplift future generations. My goal would be to motivate not only the youth but anyone that reads my quote. After all, it is a defining moment that is meant to leave a lasting impression. A sort of short introduction of who you are.

My quote would be "Success is acheived by resilience not by simply wanting it". Many of us are so ambitous and have dreams that are seemingly out of reach (in some people's eyes), but we get discouraged by what others think and say. We all have a seed that we can plant that can grow into a forest and reach the ends of the earth. Many of us stop planting our seed because of fear, doubt, or misdirection.

The purpose of my quote would be to inspire someone who may not feel good enough and to remind someone that they ARE good enough. This quote is special to me because it is my affirmation, my motto in life. I too, have been so discouraged it led me to question myself. I questioned my career goals, my thoughts , my life and so much more. Now after becoming a parent and initally feeling like my dreams were unattainable, I had to remind myself nothing is out of reach! I am going back to pursue my dreams and prove to no one but myself that I am worthy! It is the most debilitating feeling to be unmotivated and unfocused. It causes self doubt and leads to a destructive and depressing life.

Remaining resilient is the only way to live. Life will always throw curveballs and no matter what, you must step of to the base and swing. Truly the only way to fail is not trying. Success is attained by people who have failed many times and finally "got it right". Success is earned by people who sacrificed but knew achieving their destiny would be worth it. The only way to succeed is to remain resilient!
