I have always dreamed of becoming a medical doctor. My mother always told me if I wanted something bad enough, than I would have to work for it, and believe me I have, throughout my academic career . My new years resolution for this new year, is just keep on plugging along to reach that goal of becoming a doctor one day. Sometimes I get discourage, but I will not give up. Some people tell me that it will be hard and a demanding job. I know this and I still want to do it. I know what hard work is, I am a member the the JRROTC Airforce at Lafayette High School and a Beta club member for four years.
My mother has been the biggest influence in me wanting to become a doctor. I have basically grown up watching her go to the doctor alot. She has been through a lot over the years and she has inspired me. That nothing is impossible, that hard work and a lot of faith can't handle. So, no matter how many times I get down and discouraged, I think about my mom and what she when through and i know I can do anything.
