What has been your biggest achievement during your education and how will it support your future goals?

High school was a pivotal moment in my life for my education. The newfound freedom that came with high school was both exhilarating and terrifying. Realizing that nobody was checking to ensure I completed assignments on time or studied thoroughly was a relief at first. As I reached my Junior year, I realized I would drown if I kept up my habits of having little to no work/study ethic.
This realization that my lousy work habits would destroy me only struck around the year's second quarter. I realized that if I wanted to pass my rigorous classes, I would have to put the work in.
My most significant achievement during my education was developing a valid work and study ethic. Desperate to find a new way to improve my studying, I researched the most effective tools. I stumbled upon the Pomodoro method, a study method broken down into timed intervals to improve focus and help keep the information retainable.
I went from doing homework in my bed at late, unproductive hours of the night to studying routinely every day and completing my work as soon as it was assigned. Regular library visits became the norm for me.
The small changes I implemented for studying and assignments gave me much more organization and productivity. Learning how to study correctly helped me retain information much more beneficially. Not only was I able to comprehend everything much faster, but I was also instilling structure in my daily life.
My new studying habits will support my future life because, as a prospective college student, studying correctly and staying on top of assignments is the key to excelling in higher learning.
Maintaining a productive work ethic can also be helpful outside of college. The real world thrives off of structure and organization, so my familiarity with that will already give me a head start in life.
