Academic Inspiration by Daphney - November 2022 Scholarship Essay

This year, one of the toughest years for high school students, I believe that my biggest inspiration would have to be my school work. This might be the last thing that students are inspired from, but I have found a new sense of inspiration in the feeling of getting my homework done. As a senior, you are always busy. The tasks of applying to college and scholarships are very heavy and a lot of times stressful, and then we all have homework to do on top of it all. But, the feeling of getting all of your homework done on time during an extremely busy week is a new feeling that I have found to love so far this year.

I have taken it upon myself to be an incredibly active student by being involved in many extracurriculars. Being involved in two sports, Business Professionals of America, Concert and Pep Band, and also Nation Honor Society, I have had to learn how to manage my time very wisely, and this is a great life skill to have developed so early in my life. I love being busy and involved throughout the year, and homework has never stopped me from being involved, because of the fact that I push myself to always get it done before it is due. The sense of inspiration to get my high school homework and college homework done has been insane this year. The weight being lifted off of yourself when you get your homework done is inspirational. I love being inspired by the homework to get it done, and enjoy my left over time to do "normal" high school senior activities.
