Source of Inspiration by Daniel - November 2022 Scholarship Essay

One of my sources of inspiration is art. I had been drawing since I was in West Elementary School. I feel like it calms me down whenever I feel stressed or bored. I felt like drawing is my passion because I felt like I can get a job later in life since I want to become a video game designer. I improved over the years when I drew art or just random drawings I made and made me feel relaxed.

Another source of inspiration is people like my family and friends. I felt like I grew a bond with my friends since we hung out a lot. Whenever I feel down or they feel down, we cheer each other up. We always tell each other to no give up in life whenever something difficult comes up. They always been on my side and cheer me and I cheer them on back. My family always had my back whenever I needed help. When they see me struggling, they were there. When I felt like giving up, they cheered me on and helped me get back on track. My family is really awesome and have a awesome bond with them. I always get inspired by them whenever they teach me something on how to do things to become better as a person and get prepared in the adult world.

Lastly, teachers from my school were also my source of inspiration, mainly my Path Teacher. She always helps us when preparing for college and gives us tips and tricks later when we are adults. We always have Path Therapy to improve our mental health by asking questions about life, school, or what we do to like cheer ourselves up. She tought us not to slack off and give up. I learned many important things from her.
