Everybody wants to be rich. Everybody wants infinite amounts of money to spend on their dreams, such as a huge mansion or an expensive car. In order to make this amount of money, you have to know how the economy works. That is why I would teach Economics if I had the chance to teach any subject.
A big reason of why I would teach Economics is because you can use it for the rest of your life. Unlike Math, English, and History, Economics can be used to do everyone’s favorite thing: make money. Another thing Economics is useful for is to create new innovations and marketing them to the customers. Not only do you benefit by making money, you also benefit the others around you by providing the goods that they want. Economics can help with other things that people spend money, such as filling out taxes. In addition to usefulness in your personal life, Economics can be a great career choice. An Economics degree is a lucrative degree. The most lucrative degree is medicine and in second place is Economics. Economics is a subject that doesn’t involve life or death, but many people still need it because they don’t know how to do it themselves. Convenience is what fuels the Economy. Economics can help your personal life as well as your career path.
Students don’t like subjects in which you take notes forever. Students get bored and want to have some fun. Science classes have labs often. In my Economics class, I would have a mock stock market. An important part of Economics is the stock market. Not many people utilized the stock market. There is a lot of money to be made in the stock market. Every week, we would take about 30 min to invest in stocks and make money. Students love to compete and the mock stock market would encourage them to learn the subject.
Economics is a class that is fun, but still helpful. Students will enjoy this class, and remember it because they use the skills throughout their life. Most of all, my students will be happy because they can now make more money than before they took the class.
