Inspiration this school year by Dalton - November 2022 Scholarship Essay

I have had a great beginning of my school year. Senior year has flown by and it’s been very fun. I am now on road to try to receive as many scholarships I can so I can save money. This year I have been very excited to get accepted into NDSU. NDSU is my dream college and I am so happy I will get to do what I want in life. I want to double major in accounting and finance.

Getting a letter from NDSU upped my ego to keep going and continue the college process. The letter is kept sitting right on my desk so when I am doing school work or even walk in my room it gives me the reassurance of my next big steps in life. As of now I don’t want to dorm because I need to save money and getting a dorm would add a lot of money to my tuition. Based on how much I receive on scholarships I will dorm but it’s still up in the air.

That letter accepting me gave me so much excitement that I sat in my room not doing school work for two hours. I was in shock because it’s a serious accomplishment and a big move for me. I knew I would get accepted based on how well I have done in school but physically holding the paper was different. That paper tells me I am going to be something one day.

My acceptance paper has boosted me to continue to preform well in school and continue the college process. I am very excited and I can’t wait to go to college. Getting a letter of acceptance from the dream college you wanted to go to sense you were a kid is a different feeling. That letter gave me the most inspiration so far this year. That inspirational letter of acceptance tells me I have a future.
