Social media plays an effective role in our educational system today. During this pandemic, technology is what we relied on to provide us with educational information since the schools were shut down for a year and a half. As you observe you see people on their phones or electronic devices everywhere you look work, stores, and businesses. It's almost as if the human race cannot live without technology. Though that may be true technology does have some advantages and disadvantages as it improves every day.

Through time social media affects the way we learn and how we do things now in our everyday routine. One way social media affected us is through our educational system. Social media comes with is an easy distraction that allows us to get off task. This makes it easier to procrastinate when you have something that has more of your attention rather than getting the work done. This shows if go on your phone which could lead up to hours. For the outcome, the phone stops you from completing your work.

On the other hand, some advantage social media affects your everyday education is that the internet provides you with more information that you need to know or want to learn more about. This shows if you want to learn more information on your own time you could look get up on the internet to provide more information of what you're studying or want to study. Social media also helps students, teachers, and parents to get more useful information, to connect with learning groups and other educational systems that make education convenient. This shows that you can supervise your child's learning experience while helping them learn and get easy access to communicate with your teachers. Since we are given access to freely communicate with our teachers, we can contribute to our progression and receive more aid when needed.

As the years go by technology will improve and will play an important role in our society along with our educational systems. At the end of the day, it's your choice on how you want to use the Internet. How will you choose the internet to better your education?
