10 years from now by Cydney - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

In 10 years from now I will be using my education to help people. I am currently in the process of hopefully being accepted into the radiography program at my college. I want to use this degree to help people in medical need. After I have finished my radiography degree I see myself applying to sonography school and becoming certified in that. So in 10 years I will be using my education from sonography and radiography to help people get the information they need about what is happening inside their body. I hope to work in the OBGYN office or OBGYN part of a hospital helping women get checkups on their babies or seeing if they have ovarian cysts or something else is going on. I will be using my education to show people what is going on inside their body and hopefully be able to help them. I will hopefully be able to help them catch whatever is ailing them early so they can be treated. I also know that in this field I will not always just see the happy parts of someone's life. I might be looking at the screen that shows me something that will alter their life in some of the worst ways possible and I want to be there to help them in any way I can. In 10 years from now I will be using my education to help someone whether that be getting to show them their healthy growing baby, or finally getting the answers they have been looking for or being a shoulder to cry on when they get the worst news they could get. I will be helping people.
