College is many things for many people, but for me, it is an investment in my future.  College is a time for growth and personal betterment, and by investing in it to get a good education, you secure a brighter future for yourself.  The future is also larger than ourselves, though.  It is about making a difference; it is about touching lives and paying it forward to the leave the world better than we found it.  For me, attending college means making yourself a better person so that one day, you may be able to help others in a meaningful, lasting way. 
I do not know what the future will hold for me and my aspirations are continually evolving.  I know that I want to work with people to help make the world a better place, but I will need a good college education, and all of the financial help I can get to achieve that.  The world is our oyster, and by attending college and investing in it now, we can make the most of our own experiences as well as improve the lives of others.  It is with this philosophy that I plan to live my life throughout college and beyond.
