How i would use $10,000 to help my community. by Christopher - May 2019 Scholarship Essay

Since i was a little child I have always dreamed to be wealthy enough to be able to help out in my community by giving back.With $10,000 dollars I would help my community by creating sports club for kids and doing a back to school drive.since I come from a low income neighborhood i know many struggle to provide for their kids because even my parents have struggle before to provide us with this things.
First thing i would do with $10,000 dollars to help my community would be create sports clubs for kids in my community.This is because many parents in low income communities do not have the money to pay for their kids to be in activities.In addition, i would create sports clubs so that kids can have activities after school and not be wondering around the streets.The main focus why i want to create sports clubs is so that kids do not get involved in gangs or other bad things like doing drugs in the streets, since that is the only thing they have accessibility to.
Second thing I would do if i had $10,000 to help my community would be a back to school drive.I would want to do a back to school drive because i know many parents do not have the money to buy their kids supplies.Many kids don not even attend school because they do not have what its needed for them to attend school.So a back to school drive would provide this things for the kids.This would also help the parents out with extra money.
