The Ways Optimism and Progressivism Change the World by Christian - December 2018 Scholarship Essay
Thinking of a good person, for the Noble Peace Prize, the qualities that I believe the person needs to withhold, are Progressiveness and optimism. I see that the people of the World has come to a negative mindset when thinking of new ideas and innovation to peruse for the future, and to inspire younger generations. Striving to stay optimistic to new challenges, and new ways to make living easier for the citizens of the world, always comes to my mind. When keeping optimistic, staying progressive is a hard characteristic to hold as well. Progressiveness is the only way that keeps our world thriving. For picking a person for the noble Peace Prize, I would choose one that needs to have an optimistic, and progressive way at looking at the future of the world, Due to the ways the two characteristics keep the world moving.
Working with an optimistic mind set makes other characteristics stand out. In an informative health website entitled “Many benefits of Optimism”, the author explains, “Optimism helps with persistence, and greater achievement” (Scott). Looking forward to staying on a positive mind, shows to the public that anything can be accomplished. Working environments can be distressed, and unfastidious. Allowing costumers, co-workers and even bosses seeing a cheerful attitude at a work site can inspire moods and change outcomes.
Many big game politicians dispute about how progressive each side is. Discussed in a social reform website, the writer states, “Progressiveness has sprouted in history, from civil rights to work wages, to now equality and health to all” (Milkis). Proving progressiveness changes the world, I understand that a Winner of the valued Prize, should have a way of working by helping people grow and helping our community flourish.
When choosing a person for the Nobel Peace Prize, the recipient should partake in qualities like optimism and progressiveness, due to the ability to advance the world. The two characteristics make the world move in greater steps for the good of the people. Living in this world would be healthier and safer, if the person detains these qualities.
