It was early winter when snow was beginning to fall on the earth’s flat smooth surface. I was a freshman that year when our teacher Mrs. Titus was talking about the important concept of how we could improve our scores on assignments & tests. He was lecturing in class about a highly effective method that he had used back in the day when he was enrolled in college. He explained to us why this method is very much more effective than others and how it can help us. During this time I was very curious of Mrs. Titus’s secret on her method. She finally tells the whole class about her secret, which are practice test and distribution test. When class was over I learned that practice test can help prepare for a test by doing a review of the test on a book and distribution is constantly refreshing your memory by studying over a number of relatively short sessions.

Over time I’ve been using Mrs. Titus effective studying method and realized how much impact it had on my grades. I couldn’t believe that Mrs. Titus secret studying method was raising my grades from a C’s to all A+ and B+’s. I was grateful that Mrs. Titus showed us her secret. Later that day I then discovered that I had a month of practice and study for Act. I paid my fees to take the test and uploaded my photo that day. When I grabbed the Act practice book I saw sensed myself very nervous to take this test. When the test day came, my heart started pounding so hard onto my chest like a beating drum. I wasn’t sure why I was nervous still even though I’ve done the practice test and distribution test concept. When we finally began our test that day I was confident in my ability and knowledge in knowing the most of the answer.

When I finally got a report of my Act score, I was surprised to know my score and how well I did on it. I ripped open the mail and had a quick peek on the paper hoping to get a 30 or higher. I was shocked when I saw that I have gotten a 33 on my Act. This was the day when I finally realized that Mrs. Titus’s study method was very useful! I was very thankful the next day to Mrs. Titus for showing me how I can effectively study better by doing the practice test and distribution test.
