The "Real World" by Chelsea - June 2023 Scholarship Essay

The future is uncertain, nothing in life is certain. I hope to work either for a digital marketing agency or a established company. I hope to have a supporting partner by my side and the ability to start a family in the near future.
Higher education has numerous benefits to it. It allows you the opportunity to gain knowledge in a field of interest. With education I will be able to obtain a job in my desired field of work. This will allow me to gain funds to be able to support my future goals. The funds will allow me to be financially stable enough to create a family. I also hope to give money back to my family as a thank you for all they have done for me over the years and the support they constantly show.
College also sets expectations of how the “real world” operates. Professors work on a deadline. They do not allow lee way. This is exactly how the "real world" is, you are expected to complete certain tasks in a timely manner. In college you would receive a zero for an incomplete assignment, in a job you would receive a termination letter.
In ten years, I hope to take my past life experiences and apply them to future situations.
