If I had the option of having a dinner with any historical figure of my choice, it would be Albert Einstein. Such a genius of the twentieth century is a magnificent specimen in the human race. I believe Einstein was an incredibly interesting man full of theories and ticks that lead to his incredible discoveries and many successful equations. I find it absolutely fascinating that one of the brightest men to have ever lived, was thought to be dim and possibly unteachable, when he was simply uninterested in the current material in which was being taught. He was beyond the first expectations in which people had for him.

Having a detailed, thorough discussion on Einstein’s career and choices that lead him to his final decision and all his discoveries would be absolutely flabbergasting. Hearing and learning about the possibility of Einstein having Asperger’s Syndrome, learning how he could help himself function in social situations and then how much more comfortable he felt working around his area. Physics and math are some of the hardest academic subjects to work with, and for Einstein to work with it so easily, or as it had seemed so, it’s intriguing.

A question that would linger on my mind for a discussion topic, would be his feelings towards his ideas and theories being used towards the nuclear weapons that he was against. Would he feel ashamed or would he accept the fact and just hope that it was for the best interest and safety of everyone around. Einstein followed no set religion and also rooted for the equality of people regardless of their race, ethnicity, and gender. He believed a person was a person and no race was superior to others. Albert was also involved in civil rights movements such as the campaign to end lynching. Although Einstein was a peaceful person, he took it upon himself to warn Roosevelt of the growing plan the German’s were carefully working on.

In my eyes, Albert Einstein was one of the most incredible genius’, and a gigantic historical figure. Creating the opportunity to speak with him about his motivations, further goals, and life story would be an absolute honor and breathtaking evening.
