College is a very rewarding offer and just having the opportunity to go and experience a new part of life is something I'd be very thankful for. Although if I had to choose one thing I think I'd be most thankful for about the college experience I think I would choose to say how thankful I am for being able to experience something different in life and for being able to go to school and get a degree that is going to help me further on in life.
Going to college and getting to meet new people and experiencing a new part of life would be amazing. I live in a small town where everybody knows everybody and go to a small school with a graduating class of maybe 50 people. So with that being said going to college with other different people, in different cultures, and bigger class sizes would definitely be something completely different than what I'm used to. Living on campus and meeting your roommate is a once in a lifetime experience that I hope I never forget. Everyone says in college you meet new friends and it's one of the best times of your life, so I am very excited to start a new chapter in my life. That is one thing of college I'd be very thankful for.
I am looking forward to what the future holds for me and am very excited to go to college and get a degree more than likely in ultrasound for Pediatrics. With being able to go to college that helps me a lot in what I want to do in the future. A college education offers so much more than your major and core curriculum programs, you can choose from tons of fun and interesting electives to learn something new and maybe even discover a passion or talent you didn't know you had. Also without a college degree it's very hard to get a job these days, a college education can provide you with the tools to get you where you need to go in life. With so many opportunities that are going to be right in front of me, I will be very thankful for being able to go to college.
Not only are those good things to be thankful for about college but also student discounts are a big bonus of going to school. Also just the fact that you have the opportunity to go to college that is such a big thing to be thankful for, not everybody has the opportunity to go. With that being said college is a good life lesson to never take anything for granted, always be humble and thankful for the opportunities life has given you. College is an amazing place and a great opportunity I think everyone should get to experience it.
Although there are some very good things about college but it will not be a "cakewalk", which means you will have to time manage yourself and get organized if you want to get your schoolwork done and still have time for fun and your friends. College does open up a world of new ideas and perspectives, it exposes you to new opportunities you may have never even considered, empowering you to think bigger and connect with those who are different from you. Will all of that being said, I think those are the things I will be thankful for when going to college.
