Out of all the aspects education has brought to me for the past 11 years, the aspect I'm most thankful for is the widespread opportunities I am able to take part in. At Marine Creek Collegiate High School there are many options that students can participate in and feel as if they have a place.
These opportunities include receiving college credit while also taking high school classes, many clubs to be able to meet new people and also explore the many different opportunities, and also being able to minimize our time in university by being able to graduate with our associates degree. Taking college courses help me stay on top of my work, and push myself beyond my limits.
Another important aspect to my education are the people involved in helping me become the student that I want to be. One of those in particular is my school counselor Mrs. Campbell. She is such an inspiration to me because she shows me to look for the very best in life and explore it. She is such a great person and makes the learning experience lots of fun and memorable!
The opportunities that Marine Creek Collegiate have blessed me with will prepare me for so much more than just college itself. These aspects will also help me with everyday life. Dual Credit will remind me yes it's hard but there is a reward at the end.
