My New Year's resolution for 2016 is to be more committed to studying and school work. This will help me to be a better student because I would be more focused, learn what is being taught better, and get better grades.
Firstly, I would be more focused if I was more committed to studying and school work. As a student, being focused is an important attribute to have and is very beneficial. Being focused in class helps make learning and being a student much easier. When I focus in class, my overall classroom experience is better. I am not stressing over the work, I have a better understanding of what is being taught, and I have more free time because I am not spending too much time on the work.
Secondly, I would learn what is being taught better if I was more committed to studying and school work. If I was focused more then I would have a better learning experience and overall would learn better. Being committed to studying and school work means understanding what is being taught and explained. If I was more committed I would do better in my classes and my grades would be better.
Finally, I would get better grades if I was more committed to studying and school work. If I was more committed I would be focused and learning what is being taught better, leading to me getting better grades. I am already committed to some of my classes but if I was committed to all of them, then I believe that I would be a better student.
Overall, my New Year's resolution of being more committed to studying and school work would make me a better student. Being more focused, learning what is being taught better, and getting better grades are only some of what makes a student brilliant. Not all amazing students have all of these qualities but they help many complete their goals.
