Leadership is one of the most important skills that anyone can possess. I believe that leadership is all about inspiring and guiding others toward a shared goal. Good leaders set a vision, motivate their team, and make decisions that benefit their team as a whole. While there are important traits that define a leader, I believe that the ones that help make a good leader are hard work, determination, and perseverance.

My mom has inspired me to be a leader because she taught me that no matter what you go through, you should always work hard to overcome your challenges. My mom is an extremely hard-working individual who has struggled a bit through her life such as being forced to drop out of college for financial issues but she never let that get the best of her. Instead, she worked hard to achieve everything she has today including starting her own business. As a first-generation college student, this has made me take the initiative to want to work hard and get a college degree. She taught me that all good leaders take initiative and work hard to overcome their challenges. Good leaders inspire others by working hard, even in rough times, just like my mom inspired me.
