You learn something new everyday even if you may not believe it. Of course others may learn certain things differently than you might but that is okay, why? Because there is not only one certain way to find the solution you are looking for. I learned this from my math classes.
The academic subject that I learned the most from is math. Math has taught me that there is always a concrete answer even if there are a million different ways to figure it out. it has also taught me to have some confidence and try and figure out solutions even if you do not know what step is next. You may find different ways to solve the problem and they all lead to the answer you were seeking. Sometimes when working out a math problem and you forget what step is next and you take a chance at another step you can figure out a new way to solve the problem.
The way math has helped me grow as a student is by letting me know that sometimes when you think you do not know what is next it is okay to take a chance and find your own way to finding a solution to your problems. Many students learn differently and one method in solving a math problem can be too difficult to another student. Math gives you the option of solving the same problem various ways and you will still come across the same answer as the next student.
