For me, education is the only opportunity to earn relevance in Society. Because I live in a poor neighborhood, finishing high school and staying home isn't an option. My single mother doesn't make enough money to continue to raise five kids. My only option is to work hard in school and make it into a University or earn enough money to go to a Junior College and get my own apartment.
Education not only grants me with the opportunities to move on with my life, it also grants me with knowledge. To earn opportunities knowledge is a major necessity, this is why I chose #knowledge. It is the best thing anyone will ever have and without it, one has virtually nothing. In the world today, without knowledge many things will go wrong. knowledge prevents others from taking advantage of you, in the 21st-century ignorance is no longer Bliss. There are also many positive things one will fail to see without knowledge because with knowledge comes a broadened perspective. Despite hardships and tragedy, the world is a beautiful place, without knowledge, one can never know the beauties of it. Things like learning about different cultures, Foods, languages, customs, and traditions will be overlooked.
Education grants one with knowledge and without it, the world would be a very judgemental and unforgiving place. Mistakes from the past would repeat over and over again, and there would be disaster and confusion to no end. knowledge is the most important thing we have as human beings, it is the key to survival.
