Education Matters by Candace - February 2014 Scholarship Essay
“Education is too important to be left solely to the educators.” –Francis Keppel.
Personally, this statement means that not only the educators should be left with understanding, but others that have knowledge should share it as well. The purpose of education is to prepare the undeveloped to educate themselves throughout their lives. Proper education matters, because everyone needs knowledge and understanding coming of age in this world. A formal education helps benefits your social and economic status throughout your lifetime. Life becomes more difficult to provide for yourself and family without a suitable and sustainable education. Most likely you will be asking, “May I take your order please?” A good education ensures the type of career you will have in the future. Some students tend to think that we can live off of our parents forever. When reality sets in, they find out that they're parents aren't willing to take care of them. That’s when they (students) began to understand just how important education really is.
In summary, we all need education throughout our life. When we have the proper education, we can give back to others and help ones in need. Education allows you to become successful and have great opportunities in life. A formal education can help you provide good resources for your love ones. Good education has been passed on to generation to generation don’t you be the one to stop that tree from growing.
