Have you ever thought to yourself, how important am I? How big is the world that I live in today? This is a very common question, but at the same time a question that may not be thought about in our every day routines. Studying abroad may help widen our prospects on this subject and may open our eyes to be able to answer these questions. I believe that Studying abroad should be a necessity for every college student.
Studying abroad is a program where you experience different parts of the world and apply the skills that you are learning from your country to the next. It is also where you have the opportunity to be able to learn in different environments that you are normally not accustomed to. To be able to travel to a different Country and personally witness the obscurities and cultures of different human beings, will be an amazing step in your life and a huge milestone in its self.
Studying abroad is an opportunity that all college students should experience in any of their four years. It will not only open their eyes to the many different religions, cultures, morals, and customs of other people, but will allow them to experience and learn a lot about themselves as a human being, teaching many life lessons. College is a lot more than just getting a degree, it is a huge step in becoming who you are as a person and who you want to become. Studying abroad may not give you a degree, but it may influence and guide you in the decisions to become the person you want to be.
