My senior yearbook quote would be "Watch and you'll see. Someday I'll be part of your world." from The Little Mermaid because I have always felt as if I have to prove myself to people. I always felt growing up that I wasn't good enough and my dreams wouldn't get me places. But as I've grown as a dancer and as a human being, I have new found confidence that I have never had before and I know how far I will go in my life.
The Little Mermaid has been my favorite movie since I was three years old, and I relate with Ariel on a personal level. She never wanted to be tied down to the same things that she only knew. She wanted greater adventure in a place she didn't know, doing things she's never been able to do; like walk and run and bask in the sunlight. This is like me with dance. I want to be able to showcase my choreographing talent and my dancing ability. I can't wait to teach kids and teens to dance and make a greatness out of my life.
