My dream classroom would have a mat that reads “WELCOME” right in front of the door. Every student would feel eager and welcomed to enter. They would know that once they entered the classroom, they are free from cruel judgement and free to express each of their own unique and creative ideas. By every student feeling able and excited to join in on the productive conversations, each student learns and excels more. Even if the students listening do not agree with the speakers words, they would still listen and be respectful. They never know what they may learn from their peers by listening.

Every person is so special and beautifully made that by allowing each student to speak and act at their fullest potential, the classroom becomes a choir of scholars conversing. A vision of light and brilliant, crystalline colors emit from the classroom’s windows to illuminate the rest of campus. There is no time in this classroom because it goes by so fast. It seems you have just entered the classroom when you are already leaving. When the bell rings to signal class is over, the students look at one another with comforting faces that yearn for more time together. There is little time to dread though because in just ten minutes, they will be in another classroom with more scholars and friends to converse and bring light to the world.
