You’ve been exposed to education since as long as you could remember. Learning the alphabet and how to count to 10 were just two of the many exercises that were drilled into your brain. Even when you weren’t being taught new ideas, you picked them up by watching others who influence your daily life. These skills are resourceful and have ultimately shaped the way you go about your day now. Whether it’s learning a new math equation or the history in you country, your education is crucial to being successful.
Additionally, the hashtag that I have produced is #gatewayforthefuture. This hashtag promotes the positive aspects of learning new things. In order to continue to grow academically you have to continue to learn new things. What you learn may not always be what you want to hear, but knowing more things sets you up for a successful future. Education is important to me because it allows me to continue the things I love to do. When I begin college this fall, I will take all the material I have accumulated over the past 12 years and apply it where it is needed. Of course, every little detail won’t be remembered, but what I’ve learned has definitely helped pave an academic road for me.
Without the help of amazing teachers and wonderful counselors to help me along the way I would be lost on the road to continue my education. My education has allowed me to enter amazing opportunities like winning scholarships and getting into the college of my dreams. I believe education is so important for my generation and the ones to follow, because they are the ones who will be in charge of the country. They are the ones who will invent new medicine and vaccinations. They will lead our nation's in times of panic and war. I want them to be fully prepared and ready when the time comes. This is why the education you receive now will exhibit the choices you make in the future.
