Universities offer great opportunities and studying abroad is one of the biggest ways student can benefit from getting an experience from another country. Students should be required to atleast take 1 year of abroad to be more opening minded about the world. Many students should understand that getting to know a culture and receiving credit for them helps them learn even more about a country and also teaches them about change.
Studying abroad is a hand on experience in another foreign country where students learn more about a culture. This is just one of the great programs given to students because work-studies and internships help them out as well in providing assistance. Some students do not see how good they have it with so many options when attending a university. Gaining credit from another countries univerties shows a good change. Programs like studying abroad needs to be enforce so students can learn more and explore their options. Being in another country allows them to understand a new culture and area rather than what the student is use to. Change is barely given and students should not be missing this great experience.
Students in college should be required to abroad because getting this opportunity may grow on them. This chance allows the students to gain proficiency on a new language and will be seen as valuable for knowing more than one or even two languages.
They will be able to achieve maturity, independence, self-confidence, and deeper appreciation for and understanding of their purpose in this world. It also is able to prepare a student for a career and finding who they truly want to be and do in the work place.
