Community Contributions by Brandon - January 2024 Scholarship Essay

Each Fourth of July, since I was in fifth grade, I have every year taken part in the township parade honoring all Americans who have stood up for liberty. I am in the Livingston High School Marching Band and I play alto saxophone in the band.
It is an honor to be able to walk the miles playing the saxophone and honoring all Americans.
For the past couple of years, I have also helped out with the township blood drive by promoting blood donations through the American Red Cross.
It is with honor that I have served my home township.
My commitment to my fellow human is never ending and my ethical goal is to become a commercial airline pilot to ferry people from one destination to another.
I keep my eyes open and and ears listening hoping to help in additional ways that can help to further humanity. First I must attend college and study hard. While I am at school, I must get a part time or full time job in order to pay for my education. Becoming a pilot is an expensive proposition, but I will do the best that I can with my limited finances. Eventually, I must get there through hard work and full determination.
