In ten years from now, I see myself still working for someone in their barbershop still. However, at this time I will probably be considering starting my own business and running my own shop. I think ten years is enough to learn what I need to learn about perfecting my craft as a barber while also learning how to run my own shop. At first, it will probably be just me in the shop but eventually, I will hire my own employees to work in my shop.
My education will help me get there because not only will the schooling help with getting better at being a barber in general but it will also teach me how to run my own shop and what I need to get to that point down the road. Being in school will teach me things I do not already know now, and working in someone else's shop will teach me things that I did not learn from school, and eventually owning my own shop will teach me things that I did not learn while working at someone else's shop. It is all just a consistent learning process and you learn more and more every day about your craft and how to become a better communicator and business person.
