Random Acts of Kindness Project
If I was given a 10,000-dollar grant to help the community I would help in a useful and realistic way. There are several ways that someone can impact their community. A way I would consider helping would be doing a random acts of kindness projects. This would be getting people together to do things and buy things for people just to brighten there day.
The random acts of kindness project would be doing things like buying somebody things they need who can’t afford it, or maybe helping somebody by buying them a meal just to brighten there day. I have been a part of something like this in the past, but we just didn’t continue it. My brother, his friend Alex, and I bought several coolers full of popsicles and went downtown on hot summer days and handed them out just because. One time in Chicago with my church we went into the city with coolers of water and bags with sandwiches and handed them out to unfortunate people or people who were living on the streets.
In conclusion, 10,000 dollars can make a huge impact on a community. My random acts of kindness could brighten people’s day and give them some hope. One day I hope to go out in the world again and help people out just because. People can be so kind and helpful, and they need to know they are appreciated.
