My Ideal Classroom Environment by Bradley - October 2014 Scholarship Essay
My ideal classroom setting is very simple, and it is similar to the standard model that you find in most classrooms today, with a few minor adjustments. It starts with a room that has enough room for about 15 people, an ideal class size in my opinion. The teacher is an experienced and well versed in the subject matter that he/she is presenting to the class. The classroom and teacher would implement the latest technology to teach the students in the small class room setting, including u to date computers. Each student would have a computer as well as the necessary books and accessories. I feel that in this way, an immersive atmosphere conducive to learning can be established and actual learning can occur within these parameters.
I feel that this would greatly help my success as a student. Knowledge could be easily and efficiently passed from the teacher to the student in a regulated manner. The small classroom setting would alls more class room participation and more one-on-one time with the students to answer any questions and allow a more personal learning experience to occur. Then test scores would likely increase, thus equaling more success and benefit to the student. These are the reasons that I think this would increase my success as a student
