My Expectations by Bradley - April 2016 Scholarship Essay

High School is considered by many to be the "highlight" of one persons life. I myself have been blessed with many opportunities to better my future. High School basketball captain, FCA (Fellowship of Christan Athletes), RYLA ( Rotary Youth Scholarship Awards) and attending Guyan Creek Church are just few of many high school achievements.

There has been much thought about my future plans post-graduation. But after a long talk with one of my biggest role models the choice was clear. Nursing was the right career for me. After a few years in the field I plan to go back to school and pursue a job as a nurse pactitioner.Throughout my entire life, I've always admired my mother. She has been a great role for myself as well as many others. Growing up I can never recall her missing a school play, sporting event or anything of that nature. Her hard work a perseverance has shown me what it take to become a nurse. She has set the example on how I wish to run my life in the future.

After high school I plan on attending the Marshall University nursing program. This career path requires many years of schooling and tuition. This scholarship will help better my future and help me achieve my hopes and dreams!
