Leaders are people who take the initiative to improve themselves, others, and their community as a whole. They are willing to go the extra mile and lead by example. College students should be leaders to show the youth the importance and benefit of obtaining an education. They could help guide anyone to a reach their full potential and ultimately obtain a better future. Leadership skills are vital in college so that choices are made correctly and thoughtfully. People with leadership skills are the people that make a difference in the community by offering help or company in many ways.

One's leadership is seen in their actions. They are willing to assist the people around them while they challenge themselves either academically or personally. To create a powerful youth, children need to be guided and taught to stand up for their beliefs and to accept the differences between their peers. While college is a place that many people find themselves, they are also impacted everyday by the ideas and exposure to other people. More leaders in a community will be a positive influence to anyone around them.

Without leadership, nothing will be accomplished or improved in the community and there will be no open minds for new ideas. Most people will be satisfied without a challenge or a goal. Leaders create better environments and encourage others to strive towards success. They create new plans and stimulate the growth of the influenced. They are willing to stand up for what they believe in. College should be a place where people can experiment with different opinions and build off of each other’s ideas.

People are not the only things that are influenced by leaders. Businesses, organizations and any responsibility is properly managed with leadership skills. College students that obtain the proper leadership skills are able to be incredible assets to the world. They can develop new plans and suggestions for a business or just help to inspire others. Students need to develop skills that sets them apart and pushes them in the right direction. It is extremely important for students to have leadership skills so that they are able communicate with others to achieve the same goals.
