Describe how you would explain the importance of continued learning to a second grade student. by Bianca - March 2018 Scholarship Essay

When you’re young, your parents buy you toys, food, clothes and any other things you need or want but have you ever wondered how that process works? How they get the money to buy you these things? Would you ever want to buy your own things? You have to as you grow older. You will find a job that you like, the job of your dreams and will be able to buy your own things. The process of getting there isn’t easy though.
I’m sure you all have seen eighth graders graduate, and that’s because they finished the first part of their school career. They then enter with the bigger kids in high school which takes four years to finish this part. Your high school years are filled with fun and new experiences and you will learn a lot. After you graduate high school, people move to college, which can possibly be the last time you graduate from school. You will also be able to meet new people and learn even greater things! Your school career takes three parts, and you will be able to wear a cap and gown three times. The older you get, the more you will learn, but it is all your choice whether or not you want to self-improve.
“Knowledge is power.” This quote means that knowledge is more powerful than physical strength and nothing great can be done without knowledge. The more you education you get, the better of a change you will have to be able to buy yourself the things you need and want when you grow up. You will also be really smart and full of knowledge!
I know school can be hard sometimes, I remember being in your shoes not so long ago. Multiplications are hard and so is spelling, but one day it will be the easiest thing to you. “Without perseverance, there is no reward.” This final quote means that you will have many challenges in your life but you can’t give up. You have to keep trying until you succeed and you are where you want to be.
