Technology in the year 2038? by Bianca - February 2018 Scholarship Essay

Ever since technology was created many, many years ago, it has continuously advanced. “Branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life and society” is the appropriate definition of technology according to Dictionary (Dictionary). In today’s time, that definition might be slowly deteriorating because of the continuously advances that are not always relevant. No matter what is done to prevent technology from advancing that will never be the case because the designers and creators will continuously make it better and peggy-back off of the previous ideas to make something new and better. In just a blink of an eye, the technology we have today has advanced tremendously in such a small amount of time.

In addition, I believe the one advance in technology, regarding education, that will occur in the year 2038, is all college will be online and there will be no such thing as, going to class everyday, having a professor, having the opportunity to live on campus, etc. There is already many schools that offer online classes, so I feel, eventually, it will all get to the point. Another advancement that I could feel might happen, is there might be a professor teaching in a classroom to a camera that students can than log in and be apart of the lesson without having to leave their homes.

I think that technology is making people more lazy as time goes on and as technology advances. Designers and creators of technology are feeding off of that laziness to make life even more easier and convient.
