Knowledge Overpowers Time by Barbara - April 2018 Scholarship Essay

Every day all around the world there are people changing the world and trying to make it a better place. Education is one of the most important things in this world and people are improving their knowledge every day. Even though some students are thinking their learning career has ended and that their real lives have started, that isn't true.
There are 525600 minutes in a year and every minute someone is changing the world and making it a better place. I choose education because I can make a change and I am making a change. These changes being made are showing the world that anything is possible by teaching others and encouraging those that don’t like school or have a hard time with it to enjoy it.
As a health sciences student and medical laboratory student I want to help people by knowing what to diagnose and how I can help them live a healthy life. The goal after my bachelor degrees is to then continue my education and knowledge by attending Physician assistant school. The hashtag that describes what education means to me is #ICTWEM. This is an encouraging phrase I tell myself especially when I am at my lowest points and extremely stressed out. This hashtag means “I Change The World Every Minute”. This shows that my education makes a difference somewhere in the world every day and that the knowledge I have can help others gain knowledge, power, and education to change the world.
The knowledge to inform people about the planet, health, and the way things work; and not only I do this but everyone does. Everyone at all ages makes a change at every minute and that’s why #ICTWEM is a hashtag that will encourage people that they are important and that knowledge is so powerful to the point it affects time.
