Studying abroad would positively impact my college education. This would be a wonderful opportunity for me, as well as many others. It would help by giving me the experience and education I need, and it would be worthwhile. If I want to be a Spanish teacher, then studying abroad would help a lot in many ways. For example, I would have many location opportunities to teach at, along with many subject varieties to choose from.
Experience is one of the major factors in how studying abroad would positively impact my college education. Surrounding myself with Hispanics, in a Spanish speaking country, would give me the experience I need to thrive as a student and a learning teacher. If I study abroad in a Hispanic country, then I would have many resources around me to show me how things are done, to teach me about their culture, and help me learn to speak Spanish. It would give me an opportunity to ask any questions I have about anything and receive answers quickly so that I can perform better and do my job right.
Another key factor for studying abroad would be the education. A lot of people are visual or hands on learners, myself included, so it would help me see what it is like in action. Being among Hispanics would help me understand, observe, and learn. I believe it would increase my knowledge and would only assist me. If I did want to teach Spanish, then I could also intern in a classroom to get the feel of teaching in a different environment.
Finally, the last positive factor why studying abroad is a good thing is that it will be worthwhile. It would help me learn how to communicate with my peers and students. Studying abroad is worthwhile because if I go to school to be a Spanish teacher, then I can teach Spanish in America or I can even teach a subject, like math or art, in a Hispanic country for as long as I want, whenever I want. It would be worthwhile because I can always apply this knowledge any day in my career or even on vacations.
Studying abroad is a great idea and would no doubt be beneficial to most fields of study. It can affect your life in an encouraging way. One day, I to, could positively influence another student to study abroad as it is a good route to take. Studying abroad would positively impact my college education by giving me the experience and resources I need, and it would be worthwhile. Studying abroad would also help guide me in the right direction to become very successful in any field I pursue.
