What my life will look like in 10 years is very hard to imagine. But the choices I make now can heavily impact what my career may be in the future. For example, what colleges I apply for, what scholarships I write, and even how I spend my money. With these factors in mind, I can form a pretty good idea of what my life will be like a decade in the future, as well as what I would like to accomplish.
As my future career field, I would like to go into Broadcasting and Journalism. This way, I can travel. I don’t plan to be fully settled down at that moment in time. I want to have plenty of time to explore, adventure, and discover what life can offer for me. I want to make sure I explore all my options before I settle down with my career.
I also plan to have graduated college at that point with a bachelor’s degree in my desired field. Taking classes in highschool and college now can impact how well off I am in college. Researching about travel, culture, and reporting can benefit me. I would enjoy taking courses related to these topics so that they can prepare me for what I want to do.
I will practice healthy habits in my young adult life so I can carry them after I turn 28. My life isn’t how everyone may picture theirs. I don’t plan to have a white picket fence or anything of the sort! As long as I’m happy and content in ten years, that’s all that matters.
