Advice by Ashley - April 2016 Scholarship Essay
Helpful advice that I would give to younger students would be to study. This alone will help you go farther in life. Sure even if you don’t do it you still will go far, but it will be harder. Not only does it help you grow, but it also looks good on your GPA. Which also looks better to companies and colleges.
Studying may be one of the hardest things for teenagers to do, but its necessary. Without studying you could possibly fail that big test and in turn fail that class. It also helps learn the subject better. If I could go back and change how I done things I would have studied more. Studying makes a huge difference. It also, for me, made me feel more confident when taking a test. It eased my nerves making it easier for me to concentrate. Studying affects your grades, your GPA, and other activities. You have to maintain a good grade in order to play some sports and go on trips through school. In Senior year your good grades will pay off when trying to get scholarships and getting into colleges.
My advice is to study. Studying affects a lot of things in high school. In the long run studying could also be the reason why your college is free due to scholarships and you got into the Ivy League school you've always dreamed of. Things you do in high school follow you the rest of your life. Make the most of it.
