Satisfied by Ari - January 2018 Scholarship Essay

I chose satisfied because in life you can always get what you want but it isn't enough to satisfy you. I want to go to college and get my degree so I can become successful in life. I want to be able to go on trips anytime I wanted to without there being a problem financially. My mom raised me by herself and struggled because my dad isn't around to contribute. If she would've gone to college and got and education maybe she wouldn't have to be working two jobs right now to support me and her. I don't want to be like my mom because I want to be better than her and hopefully help her out in the future.
This scholarship is the key to a bright future for me. I would be able to go to college and pursue my major and graduate with a degree in electrical engineering. With my job I would be able to raise a family with ease and I wouldn't have to worry about financially struggling. I would be able to retire and live the rest of my life happily because I would be stable after retirement. If I can do all of that, then that's when I consider being satisfied in life. I can achieve all of the things I just stated all because of this scholarship.
