How would I create a positive impact on the world if I had unlimited money and time by Anthony - April 2023 Scholarship Essay
If I had unlimited time and money I would use what I’ve learned in school to solve problems around the world. One of the first problems I would solve is world hunger. World hunger is an urgent but solvable problem. With the unlimited money I would buy food and give it out or use the money to make farm lands, and teach people how to grow but I would still buy the seeds and anything else they would need to harvest the crops. By teaching the people how to plant and grow they will be able to continuously grow and pass it down to generations under them, while I will continue to buy the materials so they can grow food.
Another problem I would solve is unemployment. With my unlimited time I can create businesses, train and hire people to work for me. With my unlimited money I will be able to buy multiple places I can have people working out of. Also with my unlimited money I can make sure my employees are well paid. While creating new job opportunities I can also help people in poverty. I will also give people who don't have much of anything the opportunity to work under me. They will be given the opportunity just like a person who is unemployed.
Lastly, another major problem I will work my hardest to solve is free healthcare and education. I believe that everybody has to work for anything in life, with the unlimited money I will open up schools in the poorer neighborhoods but hire teachers who are committed to seeing the students succeed no matter their background. If the students go through at least all 12 grades they are setting themselves up for a future and they won’t end up in poverty. I have believed for a while that healthcare should be free but I understand why it is not. With my unlimited money I will open up my own hospitals and clinics that help people for free but I will still pay the workers for helping the patients.
